DE LA CAMPAGNE ANNONCE LA MARCHE DE LA CAMPAGNE LE 22 SEPTEMBRE

Lors de sa réunion ce matin, le conseil d'Alliance
de Campagne (Country Side Alliance) a retenue une date pour une
manifestation importante a Londres. Le 22 septembre 2002. Cette
manifestation , élément des interventions et demonstrations
de l'Alliance prendra part aux manifestations d' "Été
du Mécontentement".
Tous les détails seront annoncés très prochainement,
mais nous souhaitons vous informer de cet événement
des que possible, afin que vous le notiez dans vos calepins. Les
principaux partenaires ont été également informés
de cet événement.
Notre Responsable Richard Burge a déclaré:"L'objectif
de cette manifestation sera de démontrer au Parlement qu'il
serait vain d'ignorer la taille et l'importance du mécontentement
qui anime le monde rural en ce moment. Politiquement, aucune mesure
n'est en route. La Chasse est devenu la préoccupation majeur
du monde rural, qui a perdu la fois dans le Parlement qui devrait
trouver une solution juste et équilibrée a ce problème.
COUNTRYSIDE ALLIANCE ANNOUNCES COUNTRYSIDE MARCH
22ND SEPTEMBER 2002
At its meeting this morning, the Countryside Alliance Board
decided on the date for a major London march.
This will be Sunday September 22nd 2002.
This march forms a key part of, but is not a replacement for, the
varied and continuous programme of events and demonstrations which
the Alliance has already confirmed it will be mounting as part of
its 'Summer of Discontent' and beyond.
All details will be announced in the very near future, but we wished
everyone to know as promptly as possible of this major news so all
of you can put it in your diaries. Major partners in this event
have also been informed of this event.
Alliance Chief Executive Richard Burge said, "The purpose of
this march will be to show Parliament that it would be foolish to
ignore the scale and depth of distrust and anger rural people feel
at this moment. Politically, the countryside is tinder-dry. Hunting
has become the touchstone for the
countryside's over-all concerns. Rural people have lost faith that
the institution of Parliament will deliver a fair and just resolution
to this problem".
